Why We Started

QuizLounge’s IELTS section was born out of real frustration and a desire to make a difference. Our founders were once IELTS candidates themselves, and they saw three big pain points holding back thousands of learners:

1. Overwhelming, Disorganized Study Materials: Most IELTS prep resources are scattered, outdated, or too generic. Learners waste hours searching for reliable practice, only to end up with confusing PDFs or random YouTube videos.
2. Lack of Personalized Feedback: Traditional coaching and books rarely tell you why you’re stuck at a certain band score. Students get generic advice, but not actionable insights on their strengths and weaknesses.
3. Lonely, Demotivating Prep Experience: IELTS prep can feel isolating. Many learners study alone, unsure if they’re making progress, and miss out on the support and motivation of a real community.

Our Story

QuizLounge was started by a group of educators, techies, and former IELTS test-takers who wanted to fix these problems. We envisioned a platform where:
